Periodic flag state inspection to verify continued compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC 2006, and all applicable IMO instruments throughout the vessel's registration period.
Audit of the Safety Management System (SMS) for both shore-based companies (Document of Compliance, DOC) and vessels (Safety Management Certificate, SMC) under ISM Code Chapter IX of SOLAS.
Verification of the Ship Security Plan (SSP) and issuance of the International Ship Security Certificate (ISSC) in accordance with SOLAS Chapter XI-2 and the ISPS Code.

Vessels must maintain valid classification and statutory certificates at all times. Deficiencies identified during flag state inspections must be rectified prior to or immediately following the next port of call.
